Fathers Day

Fathers Day weekend is now over. I had a great time with my family this weekend. My wife, two children, and I went to my In-laws to celebrate Fathers Day. Days like yesterday really make realize how much I appreciate my family, and give me a renewed energy to continue to work as often as I do. Everyone needs a reminder as to why we work so hard. Every morning my children ages 3 and 2 do not want daddy to go to work. They pout and ask “daddy why don’t you want to stay home with me?” My children are too young to understand the catch 22 of the working world. Several years will go by before they recognize what paying for a place to live, and all the bills entails. When my children finally realize the sacrifice that I make for them everyday, they will be busy walking out to work every morning, with their children asking the very same question that they did when they were 2 and 3.
